You must be registered seven days before Election Day, but if you missed the deadline you can still vote by participating in Election Day Registration. Learn more about Election Day Registration here.

Connecticut permits voting by absentee for a number of reasons —including concerns about health and safety during the pandemic.

We have to vote like our rights  depend on it, because now they do.

 Aren't sure if you're registered?

The election is Tuesday, November 8th. Polls are open from 6 AM to 8 PM. If you are in line by 8 PM you must be allowed to vote.

Identification will be requested when you arrive, but if you forgot yours, in most cases you will be permitted to sign an affidavit in lieu of presenting ID.
